Transformation of Manufacturing Enterprises and the Role of Data Assets in the Transformation
Xu Xianchun , Former Deputy Director of the National Bureau of Statics, Professor of the Institute of Economics and Management of Tsinghua University, and Director of China Economic and Social Data Research Center and his Party visited Qingdao Hicorp Group for surveying digital transformation of manufacturing enterprise and the role of data assets in the transformation on the afternoon of August 19.. Liu Qitao, Director of the Municipal Bureau of Statics, Sun Bin, Deputy Director of the New District, and President Guan Yangchun accompanied.
President Guan Yangchun accompanied the surveying group to visit the production site and introduced the general conditons of business operation.
At the research meeting, President Guan Yangchun first extended a warm welcome to Professor Xu Xianchun and his party, and particularly introduced all industrial sectors and their leading advantages, as well as the problems we faced in the implementing of digital transformation and upgrading. The first is how to do a good job in top-level design, the second is how to break through the barriers of data sharing between departments, and the third is the lack of information talents.
Deputy Director Sui Bin affirmed our practice in production, learning and research, adn expressed that government would give guidance and support .Professor Xu said that the three issues raised by President Guan are general, key and urgent problems faced by enterprises in digital transformation. He also said that he would seek solutions from academic and legal aspects to help companies solve these problems together.
Finally, the Research Group conducted extensive exchanges on Hicorp business from the aspects of development prospect planning, data collection sources, whether the enterprise has encountered bottlenecks in the process of development, and the cost problems of enterprises in the application of advanced and applicable technology to continuously improve the process, improve products, improve quality and innovative services. At the same time, they also affirmed the work we have done in digital transformation at this stage.
